Notes: The most tolerant SPS and the one most recommended for beginners. Comes in a wide variety of forms: encrusting (M. capricornis), branching (M. digitata), and foliate. Stunning colors under blue light (green, orange, purple, red). Much more tolerant of KH fluctuations than Acropora. M. digitata is the most recommended entry-level SPS species.
